Operating Room Nurse (OR Nurse)

This position offers a 4-day work week, with shifts scheduled from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

As an Operating Room Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in the surgical setting, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work collaboratively with the surgical team and adhere to best practices and protocols to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the preparation of operating room for surgical procedures.
• Conduct assessments and provide care to patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff during procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and maintain a sterile environment.
• Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recovery plans.

Required experience/certifications/licensure include:

• Minimum of 24 months of recent operating room nursing experience.
• Current and active RN license to practice.
• Life support certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS from approved vendors.
• No violations on the state nursing license.
• Travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
