Location: Walton, Kentucky

About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced CDL A Driver for a regional shuttle delivery position in Walton, Kentucky. The driver will transport skids of pizza throughout Kentucky, West Virginia, Columbus, and Dayton using a 53-foot refrigerated trailer. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, with approximately one to two stops per day and home daily.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
Schedule: Monday through Thursday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Time: Between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., depending on the route
Stops: Approximately one to two per day
Home Time: Home daily
Employment Type: Temp-to-perm

Job Details

Equipment: 53-foot refrigerated trailer
Freight Handling: Unload freight from the trailer into box trucks
Unloading Equipment: Electric and manual pallet jacks
Handling Level: Light touch

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a 53-foot refrigerated trailer.
Transport skids of pizza throughout the assigned service area.
Complete approximately one to two deliveries per day.
Unload freight from the trailer into box trucks.
Safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks.
Maintain compliance with all applicable DOT and FMCSA safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL A.
3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Valid DOT medical card.
Ability to safely handle palletized freight.
Automatic-only drivers are welcome.
