Occupational Therapist / Physical Therapist

Location: San Antonio, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, including two weekend shifts per month.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient rehabilitation and be skilled in neuro and ortho patient evaluations and treatments. You will collaborate with a dynamic team in providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans for in-patient rehabilitation.
• Provide therapy interventions in acute care settings (Ortho, Telemetry, and ICU).
• Document patient progress and ensure compliance with treatment goals and objectives using Meditech.
• Float to different units as required, aligning with the floating policy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy License (no temporary licenses allowed).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in inpatient rehabilitation or hospital settings.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Certifications in NDT or brain injury specialty are a plus.

Dress Code: Scrubs should be sage green or olive for the top, black for the pants, with a sage green scrub jacket. White or black undershirts are allowed. Maintain a professional appearance with clean and neatly styled hair, trimmed facial hair, and covered body art where feasible.
