CONTRACT LENGTH: 11 months, potential to extend based on performance/team budget LOCATION: 5 days onsite in either Seattle, WA OR Arlington, VA HOURS: 40 hrs/week, no OT/holidays, Mon-Fri core hours PAY RANGE: $40-$53/hr WHAT TEAM IS THIS CONTRACTOR PART OF? Legal and Public Policy Recruiting, under General Counsel TEAM FOCUS / KEY PROJECTS: Legal recruiting experience Paralegal counsel and corporate counsel roles Litigation WHY IS THIS POSITION OPEN? Workload Role Overview We are seeking a Recruiter to independently source and identify talent pipelines for critical roles within the Legal and Public Policy space. This position requires the ability to calibrate with hiring teams to understand profiles and build pipelines of qualified candidates to fill open positions. The role relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude expected. Key Responsibilities Independently source and identify talent pipelines for critical roles. Calibrate with hiring teams to understand candidate profiles. Build and maintain pipelines of quality candidates to fill open positions. Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish recruiting goals. Perform a variety of recruiting tasks as needed. Contractor Specifics 40% passive sourcing 35% talking with candidates 20% applicant bids 5% working with hiring manager(s) Required Qualifications EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree may be required. EXPERIENCE: At least 8 years of experience in recruiting or a related area 5+ years of recruiting experience 2+ years of legal recruiting experience Preferred Qualifications Previous recruiting experience in the Legal industry. Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
