Registered Nurse – Operating Room

10-hour shifts, 4 days a week, from 08:00 to 18:30. Call is required on weeknights and weekends.

Assignment Details

Floating to other facilities may be required. Call requirements include 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month, with the possibility of additional call as needed.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Illinois
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Ability to circulate in heavy orthopedics, urology, spine procedures, and robotic surgeries

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible parties.
• Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions.
• Manage conflict using professional communication skills to maintain a healthy workplace environment.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain accurate medical records.
