Azure Architect (FTE only)

Azure Architect Employment Type: W2 Duration: Long Term Positions: 3 Location: Commutable to Berkeley Heights, NJ or Alpharetta, GA as needed by client Work Eligibility: All Work Authorizations are Permitted – No Visa Transfers Key Technology: Azure Cloud, ARO/K8, architecture Job Responsibilities The Azure Architect will be responsible for using knowledge of public and private cloud environments to help customers in the design, provisioning, migration, integration, and management of cloud resources to solve business problems. Work closely with GalaxE Architects and customer IT professionals to develop and integrate cloud-based systems, review existing systems to identify areas for improvement, and monitor the outcome of new or upgraded systems on business operations. Conduct evaluation of existing computer system architecture with an emphasis on the design. Identify and evaluate risks; design plans to mitigate or eliminate risks in the system or network. Design the implementation plan for the proposed cloud target state architecture. Analyze the cloud-based system as it relates to the enterprise system, especially on-premises to cloud dependencies. Create and maintain or enhance procedures, processes, and designs for a cloud-based system. Evaluate and recommend tools for monitoring and management of the system. Manage and monitor the cloud-based system, recommend and implement changes as the system changes over time. Required Skills Provide cloud and ARO/K8s architecture and implementation guidance. Experience with OpenShift and Redhat (required). Coordinate daily activities of offshore development. Speak on behalf of offshore development team to the rest of the project team and stakeholders. Develop and test infrastructure configuration and automation source code. Previous experience migrating from AWS to Azure. Desired Skills Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Terraform, Kong, API AGI, Redis Cache. #J-18808-Ljbffr
