What You Will Be Doing Developing, writing, and optimizing clean, highly structured robot programs using ABB RobotStudio and RAPID code, seamlessly integrating robotic arms with master PLCs and plant‑wide automation controls Driving the complete lifecycle of custom machinery builds, executing system design, advanced kinematics simulation, virtual testing, and physical debugging Configuring initial electrical setups, communication protocols, and complex software handshakes for ABB robotic packages and third‑party end‑of‑arm tooling Troubleshooting and resolving highly complex robotic pathing, cycle‑time, and systems integration bugs both in‑house and out on client commissioning floors Traveling up to 30% domestically and internationally to lead onsite deployment, guide final field‑commissioning phases, and provide expert engineering customer support Authoring and maintaining pristine system documentation, logic schematics, and programming manuals across all assigned automation projects What We Are Looking For ABB Robotics Expertise: At least 5 years of verifiable field experience programming ABB robotic systems. This must include a minimum of 2 years spent deeply immersed in RAPID code and RobotStudio simulation suites.
