Location: Herndon, VA 20170 Facility type: Outpatient Rehabilitation Centers Term: Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension Shift: 8hrs – Days Pay rate: $40/hr on W2 Start: ASAP Documents Required

Job Description
- To apply physical therapy assistant procedures and modalities to patients to assist patients to achieve functional goals under the direction of qualified physical therapists.
- To follow established procedures pertaining to maintenance, adjustment, assembly and disassembly of physical therapy equipment.
- To perform procedures related to patient treatment and documentation in medical records.
- To assist with transfer of patients related to therapeutic exercise and physical therapy procedures, and to be responsible for the safety and care of patients assigned by a physical therapist or medical staff.
- The patient population includes a combination of physical disabilities, ventilator dependent, and those with mental health diagnoses.
