(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary This role at Sam's Club requires compliance with company policies, procedures, and integrity standards while implementing related action plans. The associate will operate a forklift safely, manage inventory flow, provide member service, maintain facility safety, and support merchandising and club pickup operations. Responsibilities also include identifying improvement opportunities and adapting to change. What you'll do Operate a forklift following company standards, safely picking up, moving, and positioning merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners. Receive and organize merchandise from distribution centers, manage inventory flow, and maintain required documentation. Provide member service, acknowledge members, identify needs, and support purchasing decisions and self‑service technology. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting, and handling hazardous materials per company guidelines. Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies, including zoning, stocking, rotating, and cleaning displays. Ensure club pickup orders are filled by assisting with picking, staging, and auditing accuracy. Handle inventory moves, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage. Operate and maintain forklifts safely and report unsafe conditions or maintenance needs. Proactively identify customers who need help, engage them, and provide technology services and assistance. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older.
