Shipping/ Receiving ClerkAnaheim, CA 92807OverviewSalary Range $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift 1st Shift Education Level High SchoolDescriptionBrief Description:Shipping/ Receiving Department is responsible for receiving, storing, pulling, disbursing, shipping and accounting for all inventory and services within the company. The Shipping Receiving Clerk will be initially trained in 1 area and is expected to progressively cross train to be responsible for additional functions within the department.QualificationsWilling to work hard, positive attitude, willing to learn, team oriented, good work ethic, sense of urgency and ability to achieve results required.Computer proficient with ability to make accurate inventory, job costing, labor and time keeping entries required.Experience in Scale Count, Receiving, Pulling, Packing, UPS, FedEx, LTL, and International shipping to customer specifications, equipment characteristics, transportation methods and routes preferred.Forklift background preferredExperience in ERP preferred.Ability to verify identification, quantity and quality of product and accurately make corresponding entries in computer and on documentation required.Ability to accurately utilize shop math required.Ability to read & accurately interpret work instructions, procedures, etc. requiredAttention to detail with ability to think and act analytically and use mathematics to meet job requirements required.Ability to communicate effectively with outside process vendors for identification and follow-up on jobsExcellent interpersonal skills including listening, speaking and writingEffective team member with sense of urgency and ability to meet schedule requirements requiredExcellent attendance record requiredAbility to follow verbal and written instructions requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to walk and stand 90%+ of shiftAbility to work overtime when needed, including weekends when needed.
