Role Overview This position involves evaluating and treating patients primarily in rehab and LTAC hospital settings, focusing on delivering optimal care aligned with patient needs and goals. Key Responsibilities Perform initial and discharge evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document appropriately. Implement treatment strategies to meet functional goals efficiently. Identify educational needs and provide therapy education as required. Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team. Serve as a clinical instructor or mentor for interns when needed. Contribute to hospital and discipline-specific skills assessments. Manage equipment orders, communicate with vendors, and liaise with outside physicians and professionals. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctoral Degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in rehab, SNF, LTACH, or acute settings preferred.
