Project Development Manager

SCOPE Responsible for the full range of work related to project development including program execution, grant administration, economic development support, and other community projects. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Program Development Oversee the implementation and administration of Partnership initiatives, like CU Lead – the county’s leadership development program Assist in the coordination and participation of related program activities. Manage program budgets, schedules, evaluations, and participant engagement. Support recruitment, retention, and alumni engagement efforts across various programs. Prepare reports and recommendations regarding program outcomes and future improvements. Grant Administration & Operational Support Serve as the primary administrator for the Partnership's current U.S. EPA Brownfield Remediation Grant and future grant-related funding opportunities. Coordinate grant activities with consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, local governments, and property owners. Monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and reporting requirements. Maintain grant files, documentation, and federal reporting systems. Support redevelopment efforts involving brownfield and underutilized properties throughout Crawford County. Track project outcomes and communicate progress to stakeholders and funding partners. Economic Development Project Support Support business retention, expansion, and attraction projects. Assist with site development, infrastructure, and redevelopment initiatives. Conduct research and prepare information for economic development prospects and projects. Assist with grant applications, incentive programs, and funding opportunities. Maintain project tracking systems and records. Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates as needed. Teamwork and Organizational Contributions Participate in team meetings, events, and organizational activities. Support organizational communications and stakeholder engagement efforts. Assist with special events, programs, and initiatives as needed. Contribute to organizational planning and reporting activities. ADDITIONAL DUTIES Analyze development opportunities and community needs. Build collaborative relationships with public and private partners. Represent the Crawford Partnership in meetings, public forums, and stakeholder communications. Provide information and presentations regarding Partnership programs and projects. Actively participate in relevant organizations, boards, and committees. Assist with organizational marketing and communications efforts as needed. Support special projects assigned by the Executive Director. QUALIFICATIONS We expect the applicant to meet the following qualifications: Meaningful project management experience and expertise. Experience engaging with business leaders and senior management. Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office products, Salesforce database, internet & email. Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented. Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. A self-starter able to work independently, without the need for extensive supervision and oversight. Educational/Experience Requirements: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field OR equivalent workplace experience. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a corporate environment and/or serving corporate clients. EVALUATION The Project Development Manager will be given an annual evaluation by the Executive Director based upon this job description.Additionally, a semi-annual informal evaluation may be instituted. COMPENSATION Salary range: $55,000–$65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and level of responsibility Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K match, holidays, & PTO. #J-18808-Ljbffr
