Our branch teams play an important role in serving customers every day, and we're looking for another dependable team member to join our Rock Springs, Wyoming branch .
Position Summary

Industrial Supply is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Warehouse & Customer Service Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our Rock Springs branch.

This is a hands-on position with plenty of variety. You'll receive and stock inventory, pick and pack customer orders, assist customers at the front counter, help keep the warehouse organized, and make local deliveries when needed.

Because Rock Springs is a branch operation, teamwork matters. We're looking for someone who is willing to learn different parts of the business, jump in where needed, and take pride in providing customers with accurate orders and great service.

What You'll Do
Warehouse & Inventory

• Receive incoming shipments and safely unload products.
• Verify incoming products and quantities against purchase orders, sales orders, and other documentation.
• Stock products accurately in designated racks, shelves, and bins.
• Maintain organized inventory locations so products can be found quickly and accurately.
• Pick products to fulfill customer orders.
• Pack, label, and stage orders for customer pickup, shipment, or delivery.
• Review customer orders, work orders, shipping documents, and other paperwork to ensure order accuracy.
• Assist with loading and unloading products and pallets.
• Help maintain accurate inventory by paying attention to product numbers, quantities, and locations.

Customer Service

• Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Help customers with orders, pickups, and general product needs.
• Work with other branch employees to make sure customers receive accurate and timely service.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding orders and deliveries.
• Help resolve questions or issues by involving the appropriate team member when needed.
• Represent Industrial Supply professionally in every customer interaction.

Local Deliveries

• Make local customer deliveries as needed.
• Load and organize customer orders for safe and efficient delivery.
• Verify products and quantities before leaving the branch.
• Deliver orders according to customer instructions and company procedures.
• Provide friendly, professional service at customer locations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Help keep company delivery vehicles clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Follow all applicable driving, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Keep the Branch Running

At a branch like Rock Springs, everyone contributes to taking care of the customer. You'll be expected to work as part of the team and help wherever needed.

That may include:

• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
• Helping teammates complete customer orders.
• Assisting with inventory and branch projects.
• Providing coverage in different areas of the operation.
• Taking on additional responsibilities or special projects assigned by the Branch Customer Service Lead.

Helpful, But Not Required

• Previous warehouse experience, including receiving, stocking, picking, or packing.
• Customer service or counter sales experience.
• Experience in industrial supply, construction supply, automotive parts, distribution, retail, or a similar environment.
• Familiarity with sales or order-processing systems.
• Previous delivery experience involving direct customer interaction.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position that requires regular movement throughout the workday.

Employees must be able to:

• Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Load and unload products and pallets.
• Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move products.
• Safely move and organize inventory throughout a warehouse environment.
• Perform warehouse responsibilities throughout the workday.
• Safely and legally operate a company delivery vehicle when making customer deliveries.
