Location: Bristol, IN
Shift: 1st Shift – 5:45AM-1:45PM , Monday–Friday
Pay: $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

Are you detail-oriented, observant, and interested in learning a skilled manufacturing process? We're seeking an Edgeband Operator to join our team in Bristol, IN. We specializes in custom closet systems, home office cabinets, and garage cabinets.

As an Edgeband Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring edgebanding equipment used to prepare cabinet components for the next stage of production. This is a detail-focused position that requires patience, attention to quality, and the ability to learn and adjust machine settings based on individual part specifications.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Edgeband Operator, your core responsibilities will include:

*Machine Operation: Operate the edgeband machine, properly load parts, change programs, and adjust machine settings according to part specifications.

*Part Identification & Scanning: Read part labels and edging summary sheets to identify the correct edgebanding required, then scan each part using the company's 1-part flow process.

*Quality Control: Inspect parts throughout the production process and perform quality checks every 10th part to ensure consistent, high-quality results.

*Material Management: Load edgebanding into the machine and locate or put away edgebanding materials as needed.

*Machine Maintenance: Perform calibration tests before production, monitor machine performance, and maintain a clean and organized machine and work area.

In addition, you will also be expected to assist other departments when production needs change, help eliminate bottlenecks, and communicate with supervisors when issues require additional support.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is helpful, but not required
• Ability to learn and follow detailed procedures
• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
• Ability to read part labels and follow production specifications
• Ability to lift 20–40 pounds repetitively throughout an 8-hour shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work safely around machinery and production equipment
• Willingness to assist other departments when production needs require it

Work Environment

This is a hands-on manufacturing position involving machinery, wood products, and dust collection systems. Candidates should be comfortable working around moving machinery and standing for extended periods while performing repetitive production tasks.

Employees are expected to maintain a clean and safe workspace, remain aware of their surroundings, and follow all established safety procedures.
