Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist Location: Taylor, PA 18517 Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00am – 03:30pm Pay: $19.00, Weekly Position Type: Weekday Shift, Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 1 years hands-on experience with inventory control and quality assurance in a distribution/logistics environment. Must have experience driving high reach forklifts and willing to learn the order picker forklift. Job Summary: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring the integrity of product data, and supporting efficient distribution center operations. This position plays a key role in tracking, auditing, and reconciling inventory to meet company standards and customer expectations. Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Perform regular cycle counts, spot checks, and full inventory audits to identify discrepancies.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory variances; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment teams to ensure inventory accuracy throughout all stages of the supply chain.
• Verify product locations, lot numbers, serial numbers, and quantities.
• Support the implementation of process improvements to reduce errors and improve accuracy.
• Prepare and distribute inventory reports for management review.
• Assist in maintaining inventory-related documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment (order pickers and high reach forklift trucks) as needed in compliance with safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, procurement, and transportation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience, preferably in a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must have experience operating high reach truck and willing to learn an order picker forklift. Must be okay with heights.
