• Position: PCU Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse Job
• Location: Pocatello, Idaho

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,700 - $1,790
• Setting: Progressive Care / Stepdown / Telemetry
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, stepdown, telemetry, or similar acute care experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Comfort working with complex cardiac, stroke, sepsis, renal, and respiratory patients
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for progressive care patients with varying levels of acuity
• Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer and manage blood products, central lines, and ordered therapies
• Support patients requiring non-invasive airway management, including BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Collaborate with rapid response, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, CABG, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, renal failure, and respiratory failure
• Assist with advanced procedures and maintain accurate documentation in Epic
