We are currently seeking a Production Welder with experience in fabrication.

Shift: 6AM-4:30 PM | Monday - Thursday

The ideal candidate will have

3-6 months experience with welding

proficiency reading blue prints and managing work orders.

previously managed reactivity of materials when exposed to heat avoiding warping of stainless steel

experience repairing broken/cracked parts, fill holes, and increase size of metal products

understanding of welding preparation and safety protocols.

JOB SUMMARY:

 Welds metal components together with MIG and TIG welding equipment to

fabricate or repair products such as filter housings, piece parts, machine

parts, and/or plant equipment, by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 Cross training in existing processes and new processes.

 Welds metal parts together using both MIG and TIG welding processes.

 Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.

 Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.

 Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products

preparatory to welding.

 Arranging components as based on blueprints and work order instructions.

Welding components together in sequence following work order instructions

using such tools as square, level, caliper or ruler for this task.

 Clamping, holding, argon purging, tack-welding, or grinding weld components

as necessary to satisfy the quality requirements and create a welded final

product.

 Control the processes of welding to avoid problems in relation to overheat,

distortion, expansion or shrink of stainless

 Maintain a clean work station and environment.

 Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.

 Other duties may be assigned as required.
