Job Description

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Evaluate patient needs and formulate specialized therapy plans aimed at achieving their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Employ evidence-based interventions to strengthen patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Instruct Patients and Families: Educate patients and their loved ones about techniques that promote progress and support recovery at home
• Monitor and Assess Patient Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and modify treatments as required, ensuring patients remain on the path toward success

Education

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• A valid Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
