Position: Full-Time Dietary Aide
Pay: Starting at $16.00–$19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

New Horizon Foods is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Dietary Aide to join our team at The Marquardt in Watertown. This position plays an important role in providing quality meal service to residents while helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with seniors, has a positive attitude, and works well as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous cooking or food service experience required
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, or CBRF settings is a plus
• CBRF training preferred, or willingness to complete required CBRF training upon hire
• Ability to prepare simple menu items and follow standardized recipes
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and positive team attitude

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly
• Prepare menu items according to recipes and production sheets
• Assist with supper preparation and light cooking duties
• Deliver meals to residents and dining areas
• Serve residents in a courteous and professional manner
• Set up and stock serving areas before meals
• Follow sanitation and food safety procedures
• Wash dishes and assist with kitchen cleanup
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain cleanliness of dining rooms and work areas
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff as needed
• Follow all resident dietary restrictions and special meal requests
