The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. The Facilities Maintenance Assistant will work closely with the facilities team to ensure that all facilities are kept in pristine condition.Essential Job Functions:Clean and sanitize all restrooms and common areas on a regular basisDust, vacuum, sweep and mop floors, carpets, and rugs as neededCollect and dispose of trash and recycling in appropriate containersReplenish supplies in restrooms and common areas as neededMaintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and notify facilities team when supplies need to be restockedOperate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet extractorsRespond promptly to requests for cleaning and maintenance servicesFollow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environmentQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredAt least 1 year of experience in housekeeping, janitorial or custodial workKnowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methodsAbility to operate and maintain cleaning equipmentStrong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environmentAbility to communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team membersMust be able to lift and move up to 50 poundsMust be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of timePhysical Demands:Must be able to lift and move up to 50 poundsMust be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of timeMust be able to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs and laddersWork Environment:Work is typically performed indoors and outdoors, with exposure to dust, cleaning chemicals, and other environmental hazardsWork schedule may include weekends and holidays, with occasional overtime as neededThe Company has reviewed this job description to ensure that essential functions and basic duties have been included.
