responsibilities:

• Provide detailed mechanical designs for handling and process equipment using SolidWorks and structural FEA analysis.

• Lead on-site equipment installation, verification, start-up, and debugging in a fast-paced glass manufacturing environment.

• Manage trade contractors and vendor relationships to resolve equipment build, layout, or installation discrepancies promptly.

• Collaborate across multi-functional teams (electrical, controls, operations, safety) to ensure equipment meets all design requirements.

• Enforce machine guarding and safety practices in compliance with OSHA guidelines and plant receiving standards.
