This position is designed as Hybrid (In office and Remote). This position requires a criminal background check. Therefore, you may be required to provide information about your criminal history in order to be considered for this position. Qualifications Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in special education, education, rehabilitation or therapeutic health, nursing, sociology, social work, or any behavioral science field and experience equivalent to two years of working with persons with disabilities, aging, and/or mental health work. Substitution of Education for Experience: Additional graduate coursework in special education, rehabilitation or therapeutic health, nursing, sociology, social work, or any behavioral science field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Substitution of Experience for Education: Qualifying professional intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, aging, or mental health work may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and experience equivalent to three years of working with persons with disabilities, aging, and/or mental health work. Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and completion of an internship with the Department of Disability and Aging. Necessary Special Qualifications Complete a background check in a manner approved by the appointing authority. Some positions may require a valid driver's license. A Certified Work Incentives Coordinator (CWIC), Community Partner Work Incentives Counselor (CPWIC), or Certified Work Incentive Practitioner (WIP-C) Certification may be required for some positions. Experience can substitute for degree. Overview The Provider Enrollment Coordinator supports the department¿s credentialing and recruitment efforts with the Program Operations Unit. The provider enrollment coordinator manages the application and credentialing process for ECF, 1915c, Katie Beckett, and CHOICES providers (who provide additional services). This position is supervised by the Provider Credentialing Coordinator (Developmental Services Program Coordinator 2). Responsibilities Coordinate the Provider Development Committee and maintain the credentialing application disposition grid. Assist customers with credential inquiries. Capture primary source documentation in credentialing databases (i.e. SharePoint or Therap). Ensure the internal comprehensive provider listing is current and maintained. Assist with facilitation of the New Provider Applicant Forum. Assist with the development of a New Provider training module. Prepare and submit various reports, as directed according to required timeframes, such as the Title VI report, the Fraud, Waste and Abuse Report, and the monthly adjudication report. Track various items such as the expiration of trainings and certifications. Process initial credentialing applications and expansion requests for clinical providers, as needed. Coordinate the review of credentialing letters for accuracy, and the submission process to Office of Business Services. Distribute credentialing letters, and criteria reports. Notify applicants throughout the credentialing process. Complete administrative tasks associated with credentialing, on-boarding, and recruitment efforts. Present applications to the Provider Credentialing Committee. Facilitate and/or participate in various meetings, work groups and committees as directed to problem solve, review provider performance issues/concerns and/or work through policy and procedure. Work with central and regional office representatives to develop and implement a plan for recruitment of providers to address gaps in services.
