School Based Speech Language Pathologist

A school district in Dixon, Illinois is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide full-time maternity leave coverage. This position supports second and third grade students in one school building and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services and maintain required documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students who utilize AAC devices.

Caseload

• Approximately 40 students
• Second and third grade students
• Single school building
• Students with varying disabilities
• AAC experience preferred

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) will not be considered.

Education

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
