School Based Speech Language Pathologist

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage) Location: Dixon, IL Industry: Education Pay Rate: $45-$50 per hour, based on experience Work Schedule: Full-Time Assignment Dates: August 12, 2026 - November 6, 2026 A school district in Dixon, Illinois is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide full-time maternity leave coverage. This position supports second and third grade students in one school building and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment. Responsibilities

- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services and maintain required documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support students who utilize AAC devices.
- Approximately 40 students
- Second and third grade students
- Single school building
- Students with varying disabilities
- AAC experience preferred
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) will not be considered.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
