Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: RN - Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift 1st Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Preferred in acute care facility License: Required Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Certifications: Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent Must-Have: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current CPR certification is required. Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients. Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Collects relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situations. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues. Develops plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes. Implements plans, coordinates care delivery, and promotes health and safety. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for patients or their situations. Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in delivering patient care. Provides learning opportunities for patients and team members. Delivers health information to patients, families, and the treatment team. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
