Quality Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage the Quality team and utilize statistical and analytical tools such as run charts, SPC and root‑cause analysis to characterize quality problems, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Provide technical support for new technology implementations and train inspection staff in modern quality assurance methods and tools. Drive continuous improvement activities in product quality and manufacturability through efficient use of LEAN tools. Lead the ISO certification process and maintain all related procedures and processes. Conduct product testing and evaluation to support compliance with UL, CE, BHMA and other standards. Promote and maintain workplace safety, observing established safety regulations and procedures. Generate quality improvement suggestions, coach others to generate ideas, and assist with implementation of adopted suggestions. Create, modify and analyze results of quality plans as manufacturing processes and product designs change. Recommend design enhancements within engineering and cost parameters to facilitate quality and process efficiency. Analyze part tolerances and recommend changes as required. Organize and track projects, demonstrating strong leadership and facilitation skills in a team environment. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quality, Engineering or related technical field. Minimum of five (5) years manufacturing/industrial experience emphasizing Quality Management and ISO. Certified Quality Engineer certificate is a plus. Lean/6‑Sigma certifications – Green or Black Belt. Additional Requirements Strong desire to achieve results quickly, efficiently and accurately. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to influence and work through cross‑functional teams and decision‑makers. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels. Excellent analytical skills with a focus on details to produce accurate results. Compelled to move up within ASSA ABLOY and pursue higher level opportunities. Detail‑oriented, organized and capable of working under pressure.
