Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Trucks of Nevada. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair, with the ability to diagnose and fix a wide range of issues. This is a hands-on role that requires a passion for working with vehicles, as well as the skills to operate heavy equipment and industrial equipment.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Diesel trucks, including brake jobs, oil changes, electrical and air conditioner.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Utilize hand tools, schematics, and other specialized equipment to complete repairs.
- Operate heavy equipment and industrial equipment, including tractor-trailers, to lift and move vehicles.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices in automotive repair.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

- 1.5+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with semi trucks and diesel equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects.

- Experience with hand tools and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 hours per week
