Job Details Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Shift: 12-hour day shifts Hours: 36 hours per week Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 Location: Nashville, TN 37207 Schedule Notes: Four weekend shifts per schedule; schedule is built in 4-week increments with some self-scheduling flexibility Start Date: September 14, 2026 Job Requirements Active RN license Current ACLS and BLS certifications At least 1 year of recent ICU experience Comfort working 12-hour day shifts in a high-acuity critical care setting Ability to collaborate in a team-focused healthcare environment Willingness to float to med/surg as needed based on staffing needs Experience with Meditech is a plus Responsibilities Deliver attentive, compassionate care to critically ill patients and their families Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition Assist with and/or perform ICU procedures such as central line insertion, arterial line insertion, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions as appropriate Work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support high-quality patient outcomes Accurately document care, assessments, and patient progress in the electronic medical record Adapt to changing patient acuity and staffing needs while maintaining excellent care standards Float to med/surg when required by unit operations Apply now to advance your critical care nursing career and join a healthcare team in Nashville, Tennessee.
