Midlevel Restructuring & Insolvency Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a midlevel Restructuring and Insolvency associate to join our Charlotte, Portland, or Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience as a bankruptcy judicial law clerk and/or experience as a practicing commercial bankruptcy lawyer representing debtors and/or creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, state law insolvency proceedings and out of court restructurings. Experience with avoidable transfer litigation and asset sales is preferred. California bar admission is also preferred but not required. Responsibilities Work closely with experienced lawyers across our US platform. Assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Provide the highest quality client service. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience as a bankruptcy judicial law clerk and/or commercial bankruptcy lawyer. Experience in Chapter 11, state law insolvency, and out‑of‑court restructurings. Experience with avoidable transfer litigation and asset sales preferred. Self‑starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills. Compensation Base compensation: $210,000 – $340,000 per year. Salary will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
