- Days: 5-6 patients per nurse
- Nights: 6 patients per nurse
Unit Staffing:
- Days: Unit Secretary, 2-3 Patient Care Technicians (PCT)
- Nights: 2-3 Patient Care Technicians (PCT)

System Used: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements

Must be available for every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday), with flexible weekdays.

Floating Policy

Floating is required as needed, primarily between Med/Surg units.

Patient Experience Requirements

BSSR and hourly rounding are mandatory.

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NIH Stroke Scale Certification
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification is preferred

Desired Skills

Must Have: Strong assessment skills and experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets.

Advanced Skills Needed: Competency in performing IV and Foley catheter placements.

Dress Code

Required uniform: Black or Royal Blue scrubs.
