Asset Protection Associate

Salary Salary Range: $21.53 - $26.91*. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include market, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations, the Asset Protection Associate monitors shortage results, shortage control, investigations and apprehensions regarding internal and external theft, and implements store safety and awareness programs at an individual Saks Fifth Avenue location. Be responsible for training store associates on awareness and Asset Protection procedures. Maintain the integrity of physical inventory by overseeing reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis. Organize and conduct annual store inventory. Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness. Ad hoc responsibilities. Qualifications 2 years Asset Protection experience in a large volume retail environment. Certification required where applicable by jurisdiction. Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience. Wicklander-Zulawski Certification required.
