Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic On-Premise Business Development Representative to manage
and grow relationships with our top 40 independent accounts. This role focuses on Spirits and
mixology expertise, as well as promoting our craft beer lineup. You will lead promotional
activations, manage our Promo Team, and ensure Legacy Beverage remains a trusted
partner in the on-premise market.
**This role does require mandatory travel, out of the Flagstaff Branch, to and from the Globe and Show Low, Az. territories**
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top 40 independent accounts.
• Schedule and conduct monthly in-person meetings with each account.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Spirits, mixology trends, and craft beer.
• Develop cocktail programs and beer pairings to enhance consumer experience.
• Plan and execute promotional programs, including POS materials and activations.
• Manage and lead the Promo Team to ensure flawless execution of events.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to achieve distribution goals.
• Analyze sales and promotional data, providing actionable insights.
Performance Indicators & KPIs
• Account Visits: Complete 40 in-person visits per month (one per top account).
• Promotional Programming: Execute at least 2 major activations per week across the route.
• Sales Growth: Achieve 10% year-over-year growth in Spirits and craft beer sales.
• Distribution: Maintain 100% compliance with targeted SKU distribution.
• Promo Team: Ensure 100% completion of scheduled activations and maintain team
performance ratings above 90%.
• Reporting: Submit monthly performance reports by the 5th business day of each month.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of Spirits, mixology, and craft beer trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and organizational abilities with strong time management.
• Ability to interpret and act on complex data and instructions.
• High learning agility and adaptability in a dynamic market environment.
