Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2040 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Experience with pharmacologic/non-pharmacological pain interventions and equianalgesic dosing of opioids.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: - Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: - References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Palliative care unit providing symptom management for patients with serious, life-limiting illness who remain under treatment, including uncontrolled pain, severe nausea/vomiting, failure to thrive, fatigue, and other distressing symptoms, with an emphasis on comfort, dignity, quality of life, and emotional and psychosocial support.

Shift & Scheduling: - If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. - Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time. - Weekend coverage as needed per unit needs.

Floating Requirements: - Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
