R+L Carriers has an immediate need for full-time Forklift Operator at our Chicago, IL service center. As a Forklift Operator you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53' long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Forklift Operator, Starting between $21.70 - $34.00

Various shifts available:

• Full Time, Friday-Monday, 4am-2:30pm
• Full Time, Monday-Friday, Shift start 2pm or 6pm (8-10 hours daily)
• Full Time, Sunday-Thursday, Shift start 4am (8-10 hours daily)

Paid sick leave available after the first 30 calendar days of employment.

Requirements:

• Ability to read manifests
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment
• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment
• Some LTL experiences
