- Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and construct bespoke therapy programs focused on achieving their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methodologies to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and caregivers to facilitate comprehensive, integrated care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Empower patients and their families with education on therapeutic methods to sustain progress outside the clinic.
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor treatment advancements and modify strategies as required to help patients remain on track towards their goals.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
- Ongoing education or additional certifications are highly supported and encouraged
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
- A genuine passion for aiding others and a strong desire to help individuals achieve their utmost independence
