Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technician - General Pediatrics to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations with focus on pediatric patients.
• Ensure images are of diagnostic quality before submission for interpretation.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control protocols.
• Coordinate with medical staff to manage patient scheduling and flow.
• Provide compassionate care and support to pediatric patients and their families.
• Document all examinations accurately in the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ARDMS or ARRT certification required.
• Minimum two years of pediatric hospital ultrasound experience.
• Graduated from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Experience in specialty areas such as NEC, TCD, spines, and liver Doppler.
• Ability to work flexible hours including night shifts.
• Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
