Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)An Emergency Room Nurse, or ER Nurse, is a highly skilled and trained medical professional who plays a vital role in the emergency department of a hospital. They are responsible for providing immediate and efficient care to patients experiencing life-threatening injuries or illnesses. ER Nurses must have a strong knowledge base in emergency medicine, critical care, and trauma care to ensure the best possible care in emergency situations.ResponsibilitiesProvide immediate and efficient care to patients in emergenciesAssess and stabilize patients quickly and accuratelyDecide on the best course of treatment for patientsWork independently under pressure while maintaining effective communication with patients, families, and team membersProvide emotional support to patients and their families during critical timesCollaborate as part of a healthcare team, including physicians and other nursesRequired Experience / Certifications / LicensureValid Registered Nurse (RN) licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificationTrauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferredScheduleThis position requires a schedule of 3 shifts of 12 hours from 7 AM to 7 PM each week.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
