POSITION SUMMARY

The Registered Vascular and Cardiac Sonographer functions as a healthcare provider who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physicians, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Vascular/Cardiac Sonographer role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medical sonography services and its various clinical specialties. The Vascular/Cardiac Sonographer activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education
- Graduate of school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or hold RVT and RDCS Certification.
Minimum Experience
- Vascular and cardiac experience
Required Registration/License/Certification
- RVT and/or RDCS certified or eligible and BLS certified upon hire
Preferred Education
- Graduate of school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Preferred Experience
- 1 year vascular and/or cardiac experience
Preferred Registration/License/Certification
- RVT RDCS and BLS
**Business Hours. Monday-Friday. No Holiday, No weekend.**
