Respiratory Therapist - Contract Position

Location: Ottumwa, IA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with experience in neonatal and pediatrics to provide high-quality care. You will be responsible for monitoring patients' respiratory conditions and administering treatment under physician supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment and treatment of patients with respiratory issues.
• Utilize Vocsn Ventilators and V60 bipaps for patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality assurance procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Mandatory certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Must have a valid Iowa SING BG clearance.
• Drug test must be a 10-panel screening including opiates.
• Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult care required.
