HallMar Village is seeking a Trained Medication Assistant (CMA), including person centered care, to join our team in Assisted Living/ Memory Care! 

Full Time, Monday - Thursday, Second Shift(2p-10p), including holiday rotation.

HallMar Village is a joint ministry of Mercy Medical Center and Presbyterian Homes & Services. This senior living community will offer independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartment homes as well as long term care suites. With the Village Center at its heart, the community offers inviting and comfortable living spaces along with outdoor elements including patios, courtyards, gardening spaces, and walking trails.

Responsibilities

The Trained Medication Assistant is responsible for the provision of high quality care and services to AL/MC residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. The Trained Medication Assistant administers medications and treatments under the direct supervision of a nurse and performs Resident Assistant responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved training program and current certification in medication administration in state(s) in which he/she practices.
• Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program and current certification in state(s) in which he/she practices.
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
