Duties:
\tManufactures pilot-scale batches according to batch instructions and operating procedures (SOPs)
\tMaintains detailed documentation for each batch produced.
\tWeighing ingredients accurately for Pilot Plant sample.
\tAssist in setting up, change over, and test run equipment for various-sized vials and packages as required
\tWorks all areas of production operation: weighing, blending, filling, packaging, cleaning*
\tAccurately weighs product*
\tBlends product according to batch record and SOP*
\tCleans equipment and rooms to specifications
\tWorking in lab to assist or self-work on lab equipment.
\tSkills:
\tAdapts quickly to changes in work priorities
\tGood communications skills (verbal and written)
\tMust be well organized and detail oriented with strong desire to explore innovation, expand knowledge base.
\tMust be proactive, reliable and self-motivated
\tFamiliarity with Microsoft Office products
\tTeam building skills and experience
\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work across functions
\tMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
\tComply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE's) requirements
\tConstant walking and standing on hard concrete service
\tFrequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and lifting.
\tOther conditions include dust and fumes.
