Industrial Maintenance Technician, 2nd ShiftPitney Bowes is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift at our Reading, Pennsylvania facility. The base hourly pay range is $23 - $33, possible overtime may be available. Your 2nd Shift schedule will be Sunday through Thursday from 2:15PM - 10:45PM EST.You are a performance-driven contributor who can effectively troubleshoot, repair, or diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues on industrial equipment. You are a self-motivated individual who seeks opportunities to improve current practices, increase efficiency, and reduce downtime for industrial mail sorting equipment. You will:Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyor machines, PLC systems, and other industrial types of electromechanical production equipment (Mail Sorters/ Printers)Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standardsRespond to equipment breakdown or emergency situationsUtilize inventory, pm schedule, and work order systems to effectively reduce downtimeMaintain the spare parts/supply inventory utilizing EAMEvaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely mannerUtilize a tablet to track assigned work and machine downtime as well as inventory used in repairPerform all additional duties as requiredYour background: As an onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician, you have:2 or more years' direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipmentStrong familiarity servicing conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other industrial types of electromechanical production equipmentExperience using a multi-meter or any other type of electronic testing equipmentAbility to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagramsFamiliarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipmentExcellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, read schematics, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressuresOur Team: Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS®.
