Job Description
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule

All shifts; holiday coverage required.

Assignment Details

Shared contractor housing only; no pets or family allowed.

Requirements

• Must have at least 3 years of prior ICU experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN) to practice nursing in any state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be completed within six (6) months of hire.
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification must be completed within six (6) months of hire.
• NIH - NIHSS certification must be completed within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Float to Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical unit, or Pediatrics as needed.
• Perform responsible nursing care procedures, following doctors' orders and standards of care.
• Support inpatient care and recovery processes after surgeries across various specialties.
• Work independently in completing assignments with consideration of specific patient conditions.
