Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of pediatric patients to assess their physical abilities and needs.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans targeting specific therapeutic goals for each child.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and functional training to enhance mobility and strength.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide consistent feedback to families.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, treatment techniques, and at-home exercises to support recovery.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes, complying with health regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and collaborate with other healthcare providers to enhance the quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will specifically focus on pediatric patients, ranging from infants to adolescents, who may present with diverse conditions such as developmental delays, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, or sports injuries. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in enhancing their physical well-being, providing them with the skills they need to engage in activities of daily living, and helping them reach their maximum potential in childhood development.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a pediatric setting.
• Current CPR certification and knowledge of pediatric therapeutic modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with young patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
