Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN with cardiac cath and PCI experience for a fast-paced short-term acute care hospital. Requirements Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience required Epic charting system experience required Skilled in cardiac cath lab procedures, cardiac stent placement, and PCI Experience circulating procedures and monitoring procedural sedation Ventilator management experience preferred Previous travel nursing experience required Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Responsibilities Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a short-term acute care hospital Performs cardiac cath, PCI, vascular procedures, pacemaker and ICD implants STEMI Designated Hospital handling complete pre/post care of outpatients Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Weekend call rotation required On-call requirement of 12-15 hours depending on staffing needs May float to other departments (Pre-op, PACU, PACU, IVR, OR) to assist with tasks when volumes are low Epic EMR experience required Provides complete pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac and vascular patients Assists with special procedures including diagnostic and interventional cath lab and EP lab cases Administers and monitors procedural sedation Scrubs provided by facility Free parking available Holiday and weekend rotation participation required Candidates should request RTO in advance whenever possible First-time travelers not accepted for this position Local candidates within 70 miles of the facility are not accepted Clinicians cannot work more than 1 year as a traveler at this facility without a required 6-month break before returning Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure ReimbursementsNon-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-758680 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
