About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Actuary to join their team. This is a senior leadership position within the Health Solutions business, and the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the valuation and financial reporting function. The role demands a professional with a strong actuarial finance background, experience in leading valuation and financial reporting functions, and the ability to operate in a strategic, forward-looking capacity. The AVP, Actuary will work closely with senior leadership to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and strategic value of financial results across the health portfolio, providing insights that directly influence business strategy, pricing, growth, and profitability targets. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and while reinsurance experience is a major plus, it is not required. The position requires a candidate who can thrive in a collaborative, global environment, and who can bring strong technical expertise alongside proven leadership. The AVP, Actuary will oversee a team of actuarial professionals, guide quarterly and annual reporting cycles, and partner cross-functionally with FP&A, risk, underwriting, and executive stakeholders.
