Business Analyst II

Job Description

The associate will develop expertise in their assigned program. They will work under slight to moderate supervision. This associate will extract data under their own volition and under direction of supervisors. They will provide analysis of this data. They will work extensively with stores, vendors, and HQ staff.

Technical (Preferred/Required Skills/Systems):

• Required
  • SharePoint file and metadata entry and management
  • Pivot table (Excel, Hyperion, etc.) experience
  • Experience with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Planner, Project Server, Jira, etc.)
  • Ability to identify trends, find root causes of problematic trends, and recommend solutions to problematic trends
• Preferred
  • Desire to earn Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) Certification
  • Collaborative, team-based approach to decision making
• Process improvement (mapping, analysis, redesign)

Job Qualifications

Four years of experience in making analysis, evaluations or other substantive determinations with regard to current and/or projected marketing/purchasing/sales and other operating programs and interpreting written materials and organizing/coordinating work.


Or


Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in making analysis, evaluations or other substantive determinations with regard to current and/or projected marketing/purchasing/sales and other operating programs and interpreting written materials and organizing/coordinating work.

• BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION - Preferred

Major/Minor (one of):

• BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION - Preferred
• BUSINESS MANAGEMENT - Preferred

Major Duties

Analyzes business conditions and assists in the development of business policies.
Performs analysis of data, graphs, reports and charts.
Compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
