You will be the driver of supplier quality excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement for your supply base. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing plants, to improve quality of product and process. This position can be based in our offices in Oak Brook, IL, or Racine, WI, and is eligible for our hybrid work schedule with three (3) days per week in-office, and two (2) days remote/home office.Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Quality LeadershipSupplier Qualification & New Product LaunchSupplier Performance Management and Process ExcellenceExperience Required: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field). An associate degree with 10+ years of relevant manufacturing and supplier quality experience in metallic components will also be considered. A minimum of six (6) years of manufacturing, quality, or supplier quality engineering experience supporting metallic components. At least three (3) years should be focused on supplier quality engineering, quality engineering, or quality management. Candidates should have hands-on experience with inspection methods (hard gaging and CMM), machining processes (manual and CNC turning, milling, grinding, broaching/key seating, and hobbing), and a strong understanding of GD&T. Experience with welding and/or CWI certification is a plus. Knowledge of special processes including heat treat, zinc, electroless nickel plating, chrome plating, manganese phosphate, and powder, e-coat, or liquid paint processes is highly desirable. Understanding and experience working with Advanced Quality Planning tools (design reviews, FMEAs, Contractual Control Plans, Inspection and Test plans, Gage R&R Studies, Capability Studies, SPC, 7-step or 8D corrective action process).Pay Transparency: The annual salary for this role is $87,000 - $133,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location.
