Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical exams and detailed analyses of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support, including room preparation, patient positioning, and assisting with surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis

Certifications

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
