VP / SVP Investments - Texas Region

29th Street Capital is seeking a highly driven, entrepreneurial, and relationship-oriented Vice President or Senior Vice President of Acquisitions to lead the firm's investment activity across Texas. Based in Chicago with frequent travel throughout Texas, this role is defined by ownership of a region: responsible for sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, and executing multifamily investments throughout Texas while developing and maintaining long-term relationships with brokers, owners, lenders, and other market participants. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of originating and closing multifamily investments, exceptional investment judgment, and is motivated by building a scalable pipeline in one of the country's most competitive and dynamic markets. Responsibilities Serving as the primary acquisitions lead for Texas with full responsibility for pipeline development and market coverage. Building and maintaining deep relationships with brokers, owners, lenders, developers, and local operators to source marketed and off-market opportunities. Developing proprietary deal flow through market coverage and outreach. Maintaining real-time market intelligence across Texas including supply pipelines, rent trends, capital markets and demographic shifts. Leading underwriting and review of financial models and return analyses of multifamily investments. Evaluating operating performance, rent rolls, market assumptions and capital expenditure programs to identify investment risks and value creation opportunities. Preparing investment memoranda and presenting to senior leadership and the Investment Committee. Structuring and negotiating LOIs, PSAs and other transaction documentation with legal counsel. Leading due diligence and closing processes. Compensation includes a base salary of $150,000 with participation in fees and carried interest, commensurate with experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr InforCapital
