Supply Chain Advisor, Business Consulting – Supply Chain & Operations (Procurement) Employer: Ernst & Young U.S. LLP Location: New York, NY Job ID: 1716577 Position Overview: You will help clients understand the health of their supply chains, provide procurement process advice, assist with transformations, manage engagements, and lead teams to deliver value to C‑level executives. Provide advice on procurement processes, including sourcing, buying goods and services, and managing supplier relationships. Assist clients with transformations such as designing procurement operating models, Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes, and technology optimization. Lead engagement teams on P2P transformations, identify opportunities, quantify business value, and present findings to C‑level executives. Design and deploy advanced analytic solutions, develop spend taxonomies, and lead data collection and enrichment activities. Lead engagement teams to create execution roadmaps across sourcing and category management, including strategic sourcing and auctions. Design and implement contract management processes and enabling technologies. Assess buying, payment channel, catalog, and purchasing card strategies. Design on‑premise and SaaS software solutions leveraging supplier networks and portals. Lead functional design workshops for clients. Manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams, monitor progress, and maintain long‑term client relationships. Cultivate business development opportunities. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field & 5 years progressive post‑baccalaureate work experience; or Master’s degree & 4 years experience. 3 years of advisory or consulting experience in procurement operating or organizational model design. 3 years of experience in designing new procurement operating or organizational models, or implementing eProcurement technology. 3 years of advisory/consulting experience in Consumer Products, Automotive, Life Sciences, Industrial Products, Financial Services, or Technology sectors. 2 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement operating model design, category management, and eProcurement process and technology implementation. 4 years of experience using Excel, Macros, and Pivot Tables. 3 years of experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members. Requires travel up to 80%, including up to 20% international. Employer accepts any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
